The French AI bull genetic evaluations were updated most recently in February 2023, the main updates that I could see are below. Full details available on http://indexgenetique.idele.fr/
If anyone has used these bull or other French AI bulls it would be great to hear breeders’ opinions on the cattle they are producing.

    Rocky (AU8316)
First calving difficulty score reported, slightly easier calving than average with a score of 103.

    Pacha (AU8319)
First calving difficulty score reported, average calving difficulty with a score of 99, only 55 calves born so reliability is not very high yet.

    Oxford (AU7509)
First performance scores reported, as expected he is producing small but wide well muscled cattle. Temperament score of 94 is below average but currently low reliability. Calving difficulty remains unchanged at a score of 80.

    Octave (AU7284)
First performance scores reported, scores well for growth (103), muscle (109) and skeletal (111) traits. Very good scores for legs and top line, temperament score (95) is below average but currently low reliability.

    Marquis (AU4622)
Very poor daughter calving ability with a score of 74, this is still low reliability so it could change slightly.

    Madison (AU4627)
Biggest change was on daughter calving ability which is good at a score of 107

    Marley (AU6322)
Daughter calving difficulty score is currently low reliability but is very poor at a score of 78.
